Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you give free estimates?

Yes. If you would like an estimate on a specific service such as removal, pruning or injections among others, the quote is free.    If you need an expert diagnosis for an ailing tree a fee will be charged.

2. Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We carry extensive property liability and workers' comp on all our employees.   We are licensed with the state of Michigan and can provide verification upon request.

3. What equipment will be used?

We utilize a 65-foot bucket truck, chipper trucks, self-propelled stump grinder, mini-skid steer and wood chippers.   Due to location, a bucket truck can not always be used. In this instance, we employ modern training and have vast expertise in tree climbing.

4. What will my yard look like after you are finished?

We pride our self in customer service and satisfaction.   We guarantee your yard will be left in pristine condition. Equipment and debris will be removed upon completion.

5. Why hire an arborist?

An arborist is a specialist in the care of individual trees.    Arborists are knowledgeable about the needs of trees, and are trained and equipped to provide proper care.   Hiring an arborist is a decision that should not be taken lightly.    Proper tree care is an investment, which can lead to substantial returns.   Well cared for trees are attractive and can add considerable value to your property.    Poorly maintained trees can be a significant liability.    Pruning or removing trees, especially large trees, can be dangerous work.   Tree work should only be done by those trained and equipped to work safely in trees.
